The 300,000th Tree of the ‘A Tree From You, A Forest From Us’ Campaign Has Been Planted

The 2016 Spring Tree Planting Event, one of the Tree Planting Events initiated by Middle East Technical University in 1961 and which had Ankara acquire the ODTÜ Forest, took place in the OR-AN region of the ODTÜ Forest on Sunday, May 15^th between 10:30 and 13:30. During the Event, 10,000 trees were planted in memory of our students Berkay Baş and Ozancan Akkuş, who we lost in March, an thus, the goal of planting 300,000 trees within the scope of the campaign ‘A Tree From You, A Forest From Us’ run collaboratively by ODTÜ and the ODTÜ Development Foundation was achieved.
