ODTÜ’s 2015-2016 Commencement Ceremony Has Been Held.
ODTÜ’s 2015-2016 Academic Year Commencement Ceremony was held at ODTÜ Stadium on Sunday July 3rd, at 5:30 p.m.
During the first part of the Commencement Ceremony, which started at 1:30 p.m. at the Culture and Convention Center, Kemal Kurdaş Hall, doctoral graduates received their diplomas.
During the second part of the ceremony, which started at 5:30 p.m., highest ranking graduates of undergraduate programs received their diplomas, certificates and awards, students who completed their major, double major and graduate programs received their diplomas, and those who completed their minor programs received their minor degree certificates.
This year, 2,531 undergraduate students, 421 graduate students and 148 doctoral students were entitled to receive a diploma. Çağıl Köroğlu from Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Abdullah Alchihabi from Northern Cyprus Campus Computer Engineering shared the highest-ranking-student status. 180 undergraduate and 5 graduate students graduated from ODTÜ Northern Cyprus Campus.
