Comemmoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Holiday will commence on the 19th of May 2012 at 11:00 and will be celebrated with a Youth Festival. Student clubs will take part in the celebrations with music, dance and sports performances.
All METU students and personnel are invited to the festivities.

10.15 The flag coming from Samsun will be carried from A1 gate to the stadium.
10.30 Members of student societies will be coming together in the stadium.
10.30 Music and Fine Arts Department Jazz Orchestra will be taking its place.
11.00 Ceremony march will begin in the stadium. (the vocalization of Atatürk's Address to Turkish Youth)
11.15 Members of student societies will be taking their places reserved for them.
11.20 National Anthem will be performed and Homage will be held.
11.25 Opening speeches will be made by one female and one male student.
